Smokie Smokerson hey everyone, I have a Swisscom Mobile line but my Galaxy S3 is bought from a different store at full price, without a contract with Swisscom, does this mean I can get the updates directly from Samsung when they get released? Like Jelly Bean 4.1, or does it have to come from Swisscom?
Tux0ne This depends on the sales code off the phone. You can check this with Kies. Samsung released 4.1.1 for Swisscom (Sales Code SWC) today!
tbruegg mine ends with (AUT).... does this mean it is not getting the update? or will it just take some more time?
Smokie Smokerson Mine is set to AUT as well and no update in sight hehe To be honest, I thought carrier-free phones would get the update first, but I guess I'm wrong. @tbruegg I'm just curious, where did you buy your S3 from?
tbruegg i have mine from digitec. i had the nexus 9250 before, it had the update a month ago and it did improve some issues i had. hope it comes soon for galaxy!😤
