    Thanks for the feedback

So the client you are trying to set up the VPN server is the company and not an employee on a Mac mini.

Please note that the company in question to use the VPN on centro 2 must have a abonnement Swisscom Business

    Follow this link:

    Hello

I’m at point 4, about the “shared secret”.

Where on the Internet-Box web portal can I inform this pwd of the “shared secret”???

Not included the company has an internet-Box or the Centro Business 2???

To work remotely with the company’s VPN, it must give you the name of the VPN and the passwords, otherwise no connection.

    thanks for the contribution

This cannot be achieved with the Centro Business (or CB2)

The web GUI talks about a VPN, but this cannot be used for client access.

Possible: install a remote access client such as TeamViewer for the client.

It is simple to use and works reliably in almost all circumstances.

Or run a VPN server on the PC (Mac) and configure the appropriate port forwarding on the Centro Business (or CB2). Not recommended in this situation, however, as it is error-prone and cumbersome.

In some circumstances, a “normal” Internet connection is sufficient for the client.

The Internet-Box has a built-in VPN server, with DynDNS also on board.

A VPN connection is only possible if the client (e.g. IP: 192.168.2.1) is on a different network than the server ((router) 192.168.1.1).

To test: connect the computer with the mobile hotspot or your mobile phone (tethering) to the mobile network and use a different IP range from that of your local network.

Secure VPN connection – Help | Swisscom

    Configure VPN on your device

    choose the Mac OS tab

In network settings, add a new connection and choose VPN as the connection. In the VPN type “L2TP via IPSec”, enter the name of your choice for the new VPN connection.
Then follow the steps shown in the images:

    1. Transfer the name or, if necessary, the IP address from the Internet-Box web portal. We advise you to always choose a fixed DynDNS account as your server address!
    2. Transfer the username VPN from the Internet-Box web portal.
    3. Click on “Authentication settings…” to make further entries and transfer the VPN password you defined from the Internet-Box web portal.
    4. Transfer your personal key “VPN Shared Secret” and confirm the entry. Click “Connect” to test the entered data. Tip: Activate the VPN status display to be able to manage the VPN connection at any time via the menu bar.

  • Hello @TexCymbal

Photos you save via your mobile phone are not displayed in myCloud Desktop. However, you can download the photos to have them on your PC.

On the following help pages you will find information about the structure and functionality of myCloud:
