Hi kaetho,
Thank you for the detailed suggestion. I have read all the replies posted so far, including yours, and I appreciate the time everyone has taken to propose possible solutions.
A VPN through an Internet-Box, or even a Raspberry Pi running WireGuard and DDNS, would certainly be useful in situations where a service is restricted according to the user’s IP address or physical location.
In this particular case, however, the restriction is at the Apple App Store storefront/account level. My Apple ID uses the Turkish App Store, so connecting through a Swiss IP address would not change the country associated with that storefront.
So my aim is not really to make my phone appear to be in Switzerland while abroad. I would prefer the app simply to be officially available through my own App Store region.
I also checked Apple’s current storefronts after reading the responses here, and My Swisscom is already available outside Switzerland in several countries, including the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Austria. That is why I believe adding Türkiye could at least be considered by the responsible team.
The main reason I posted here is that I am trying to submit that request to Swisscom in writing.
Because of my schedule and circumstances, written communication is important for me. Unfortunately, I could not find a monitored customer support email, a standard ticket/contact form, or a way to reach a human support agent through the chat. Sam understood the issue but said it could not register or forward a product availability request.
As a result, I came to the Community hoping that perhaps a Swisscom moderator or employee might see the discussion and pass the request to the My Swisscom/App Store distribution team.
Thank you again for taking the time to suggest a solution.
