Glasfaser noch nicht freigeschaltet?

Hello community,

I’ll move to my new apt soon and at that address from what I saw is 10/10 Internet available.

However, when I tried to ‘ umzug melden ’ I asked the guy if he can change my Abo to higher one so I can have Glasfaser. He told me that the speeds are correct but sadly Swisscom didn’t activated/freigeschalten the glasfaser.

So can anyone help me, explain it to me how long will it take for Swisscom to activate it? I meant when the Website already says 10/10 there is nothing else to do.

ich ziehe bald in meine neue Wohnung um und an dieser Adresse ist, soweit ich gesehen habe, 10/10 Internet verfügbar.

Melde einfach mal den Umzug (online via MySwisscom) und alle notwendigen Schritte geschehen automatisch.
Wenn dann der Umzug durch ist, mache ein Speedupgrade und alle notwendigen Schritte geschehen automatisch.

Bloss nicht die Hotline anrufen und die vorgegebenen Prozesse versuchen abzuändern, das geht meistens in die Hose…

To be honest with you, Swisscom isn’t the Internet provider that I have. But the Provider I have told me that ' Swisscom didn’t activate Glasfaser at this adress ' …

I really don’t understand how this things work. The Building is from 2024 so I am confused, do I have to call Swisscom to activate it or idk.

Muss ich Swisscom anrufen, um den Anschluss zu aktivieren, oder wie?

Deine Ansprechstelle ist einzig und allein dein Internetprovider.
Dieser hat das mit Swisscom zu klären.
Swisscom gibt dir keine Auskunft über Anschlüsse, die von Fremdprovidern genutzt werden, auch wenn Swiscon das Netz gebaut hat.

Dein Anbieter muss bei Swisscom den Ausbau bestellen.

Aber zauberst muss dein Provider den Umzugs erfassen.

am besten Kupfer auf Kupfer sein lassen, wenn eingezogen bist dann der Wechsel, sonst gibt es ein Puff.

Denn ich als alter Alt Mieter will doch nicht noch Handwerker vor dem Auszug in der Wohnung welche was für den nächsten Mieter machen.
