Internet Box 5 Set Up

Dear Community,

I would like to ask you in English as my family and I just arrived in Switzerland and I don't have a local number to reach Swisscom to arrange a call back. So, I am here to get help.

My internet box 5 is flashing red after following the directions. I tried many times and it's not working, but I could be missing something.

ChristopherT The black plug cable goes probably into PAC (Point d'Accès Central - Central Access Point) or RES (Réseau - Network). Try both, but leave it plugged up to 1/2 hour.

All that assuming that you received activation notification.

Is this converted office building or hotel.

Bis du von Swisscom per SMS informiert worden bezüglich Aktivierung des Anschlusses ?

Was sagt https://www.swisscom.ch/bestellung ?

I plugged into the PA

I tried plugging into REZ and PAC, and the box is still flashing red.

Thank you bitracer. I tried both as you suggested, it's still flashing red. It's an old Swiss house (very charming), and the inside is fully renovated.

I am calling Swisscom and they said they will send someone out next week.

ChristopherT Looking at the picture you’ll probably need an electrician. Let’s see what Swisscom says on Monday and good luck.
