WebDAV not working as expected

I am using several Windows and Ubuntu systems.
The windows systems are using the Swisscom MyCloud app and the Ubuntu systems access MyCloud over WebDAV.
So far everthing seamed to work fine…

Unfortunately it happened now several times, that content that was edited on Linux clients was lost.
Either files were not updated on the cloud or they completely disappeard.
I suspect WebDAV with MyCloud works fine for oneshot reading, writing, creating and deleting files but NOT for 'online' editing/updating existing files.

J'ai fait exactement la même constatation et, si je dois éditer un fichier accédé avec WebDAV, je le copie en local avant de l'éditer pour ensuite le recopier et écraser l'ancienne version sur WebDAV. Je n'ai jamais eu de problème avec cette façon de faire.
