Swisscom Box IP 2000 update

I have just bought a Swisscom Box IP 2000 (refurbished) delivered by Swisscom. I notice that the software is not up to date (not Android 12). What should I do?

Connect, let it run in standby and wait. The update should be loaded automatically. Possibly do a hard reset.

jicubef The TV update to the new operating system has been rolled out in stages since 2024. All you can do is leave the TV box in standby mode and wait for the update.

The rollout of the IP2000 boxes is still not complete. I know many people who have not yet received the update to IP2000. You can only wait until the box updates automatically at some point. There is no way to download the update yourself or to speed up the process.

It may well take a little longer.

I received the message in mid-October 2024 that my box needed an update.
Nothing has happened to date.

The only thing that really helps is to be patient or, if you really think you need the update, to order Box 5 straight away.

The app store, for example, is not the ultimate feature.
