So I can use the iPhone very well as a hotspot, be it a notebook, iPad or another device that can be connected via WLAN.
But the SIM card remains in the iPhone.
You can use an additional MultiDevice card.
Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.
Gufliluth73 should work, as Swisscom SIM cards do not have a lock. The proof of the pudding is in the eating.
If it still doesn’t work, it’s because of the settings or the hotspot.
@Gucci It should work, but your mention of “cameras” rings a bell regarding “fair use policy”. This is an integral part of the contract for mobile. It should work, but if you regularly use 250 GB or more after a month, Swisscom may also block your connection.
Galaxus Mobile or Digital Republic, for example, have separate plans (IOT) for the operation of “services” such as cameras or similar; as a normal router, however, Swisscom’s Mobile is much better suited. Swisscom’s network is also significantly better than Sunrise’s ;-)
Kærar kveðjur - herzliche Grüsse
