Fibre optic technology TV

Since the fibre optic connection, there have been brief picture dropouts on the TV. Is it possible that this is due to the connection?

The question was about the connection type from the TV box(set top box) to the internet box(router) !

It’s clear that there is a fibre optic cable from the fibre optic socket to the Internet box(router) - but that wasn’t the question…..

Julauflik35 that doesn’t work at all, as you describe it rather like this:

Fibre optic socket->Fibre optic cable->Internet box->**Ethernet cable->**TV box->HDMI cable->HDMI input from TV.

Did you connect it as I described?
In other words, did you connect the TV box directly (without a switch, PLC, WLAN, etc.) to the router using an Ethernet cable ?

    I also described it wrong, sorry. A fibre optic cable goes from the wall socket installed by Swisscom to the fibre input of the router.

    From the router with LAN cable (CAT 7 cable) to the TV box.
