For regular calls there is the Travel Voice Option for Thailand. This costs 29.90 and includes 60 minutes of telephony. Otherwise you can also make calls via the appropriate messenger or purchase a local SIM, especially if you are staying in a country for a longer period of time or regularly. The standard tariffs without telephony options are still generally high abroad.
