What exactly happens when you want to register?
Before you press the + button (=pairing button / connection button) on the Internet box (base station), start the automatic DECT registration as follows.
select on the telephone: Menu - Settings - Registration - Register handset - OK
now press the + button on the Internet box
Both devices will show you the successful connection on the display.
Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.
@Kiokoki74 if it still does not work, you have to delete the Zombi phones from the IB, a maximum of 5 DECT phones can be operated on the IB.
You enter this in your browser https://internetbox.swisscom.ch/#telephony/device/settings
and you will be taken to this router website:
My colleague @WalterB has already explained the login mode from the phone.
Here are the complete instructions for your phone:
See page 8: Registering the phone to a base
WalterB Tried X times and in the correct order - always unsuccessful.
1. Have you ever been able to successfully register a DECT phone on the IB4 - or is this E560 the first Dect device you want to register on this IB4?
2. Is it really the E560 or is it the E560HX (the latter would actually be the right one, because current cat iq2.x technology). The E560 (without HX) should also work, but it is actually outdated analogue technology and you are giving away some of the comfort functions of the HX model…..
3. Have you ever restarted the IB4? (Briefly disconnect it from the power supply) and then try again
Addendum:
If it really is just the E560, I would try exchanging it for the E560HX**
….keep on rockin'
user109 These tips also did nothing to solve the problem. No DECT devices are visible and “Connect new device” leads to the same previous result.
WalterB The DECT on slider is set to off, but cannot be activated. The IB4 requires a device to be registered first.
WalterB One e560HX is registered, the second must now be charged first. Problem probably solved by switching the IB4 off and on.
