"Oops, something went wrong / Are they still watching?"

I am using the AppleTV Box (2nd Gen). Now that the app is finally running reasonably (but not completely!!) smoothly again, new problems are getting on my nerves:

-I switch the box off normally using the remote control. Whenever I switch it on again the next day, the question “Are you still watching?” pops up. Not a huge problem, but still annoying, as it is obvious that I can no longer watch after switching off.

-When I zap several channels down or up, the error message “Oops, something went wrong” appears.

I didn’t have either problem from the start! The box software is up to date. As far as I know, you can’t update the app manually (at least I couldn’t find a corresponding function in the BlueTV app under “Settings”).

Any ideas? Reinstall the app?

    have you tried uninstalling the Swisscom blue TV app?

    Position yourself on the Swisscom blue TV app icon and press and hold the “OK” button until the Swisscom blue TV app options appear.

    if it works uninstall the Swisscom blue TV app then reinstall the Swisscom blue TV app from the App Store

    I also have this problem on the Apple TV box when I turn it off on blue Tv. I have to quit the blue Tv app (go back to the Apple TV menu with the icons for all the applications) before switching off the box.

    The next time I use it, it doesn’t ask if I’m still watching.
