I already know 4 people personally who have received this special offer. They all have one thing in common and that is that they are all subscriptions with a 30.- family discount. But none of them with 20.

So I probably won’t get it 99% of the time. What the heck.

    WalterB Hi!

I made a request at the end of last week. I wanted to know if I switched from blue mobile M to blue mobile L, could I get a discount on the L. I was told that this would be possible if I changed my mobile number. But not otherwise.

I don’t understand now? Change your mobile phone number to get a discount? I’ve never heard of that and it makes no sense. I don’t think the customer would want that! Normally you renew your mobile phone subscription in return for a discount. Otherwise I would call again and ask… and hope that you get a competent employee.

Not yet. But I would have liked to upgrade my subscription and carry over to the new one the discount I currently have.

But in the end it’s not that important. I can make do with the M for my few calls from Switzerland to abroad.

The main reason for the ABo “L” are the enclosed four MultiDevice otherwise I would have taken the ABo “M” or even switched to Wingo.

JanineZ but you don’t know this and nobody tells you, not even in the text message. That any combined discount in the same household is cancelled and you therefore have to pay more for your subscription. We are a family of 5 and now have the problem that we were cheaper in total before. So you’d think it was a scam. A call to Swisscom confirmed this. So watch out if you have more than one subscription with Swisscom in your household.

Where does it say that a combined discount is cancelled?
As far as I know, the combined discount remains

Please check the offer site again:

            https://www.swisscom.ch/blue-l

It says the following: Good to know - The family discount of 30.- will be replaced by the special offer with the discount of 50.-. The subscription price therefore remains unchanged for you.

So you have a better offer for the same price.

POGO 1104 unfortunately it’s not on the homepage or anything, but the hotline confirmed it to me because of the subscription change, because the discount can no longer be switched on. Exciting or………

JanineZ Then it would only be right if the owner of the account is asked which subscriptions in his multi-person household the subscription should be switched to. True to the motto the customer is king and not simply upgrading two subscriptions, isn’t that right? And where does it say that the other discount is cancelled for this offer in the multi-person household?

There is no mention here that any discount will be cancelled. So everyone thinks. Cool thing, as a good customer I get more service for absolutely the same price. We know these methods from other providers, but not from Swisscom. But we are Priorite customers. I just wonder what the point is with such false information.

GuidoL I have one more objection. The permanent 50.- is available when you upgrade from M to L. If someone already has the L (for 69.90 with 30.- discount) is the upgrade to blue Mobile Special10 there is the permanent discount 50%

Kaujitzem65 Have you actually looked at the link https://www.swisscom.ch/blue-l? It’s clearly stated there:

Old 49.90 / mt. price incl. family discount (30.-/mt.)
New 49.90 / mt. price including permanent 50.-/mt. discount

Yes, the 30.- will be cancelled, but will be replaced by 50.-. As the L is actually 20.- more expensive.

By the way, if you don’t like the upgrade, you can cancel it. You simply have to add the family discount again. And don’t be alarmed if the invoice amount is temporarily incorrect in the customer portal. It will only be adjusted the following day.
