eSim activation living in UK

    • I have ordered and paid for an eSim online. Order reference number 6287336982.

    Almost everything is fine. I could even change my address to my UK address (I am a Swiss living in the UK) using the web version of myswisscom (during the order process I had to use my mother’s address in Switzerland).

    The only issue I have (and it is a big one) is, that the My Swisscom app is not available for download in the UK.

    I even tried using a VPN, but there was no chance. My Playstore is the UK Playstore.

    Therefore I am not able to activate my eSim on my phone.

    Is there another way? Can I get the apk sent by Swisscom so I can install it? Would that even solve the issue or is the app itself country locked?

    If there is no way to activate my eSim, I have to cancel the order and request a refund.

    • @HD-a_Swiss_abroad You can also activate the webversion of MySwisscom (it contains exactly the same than the App), the question would in which Myswisscom acount the e-sim is registered, in your’s or your mothers?
