E-Mail (bluewin) Auto Logout

The Swisscom email (bluewin) logs itself out after a short time.

Can this be deactivated or the logout time extended?

This problem has been occurring for about a week, also on different PCs.

Hello @Priowausis38

You can set this in Bluewin Webmail here:

Gear Menu -> All Settings -> Security -> Advanced Settings -> Log Out Automatically

There you can choose between 5 minutes and never

    Hello @WABU & @Priowausis38

I have Email Basic (for 2.90/month).

I would clear the cache and use a different browser.

I almost can’t believe that the Swisscom people also make differences in the range of functions. This should be reportable as a bug.

One more reason for e.g. E.g. switching to Thunderbird. I use that too and it only has advantages.

The question now is whether this is a mistake because of the missing function, or whether customers only get a paid subscription.

I have been using Thunderbird for many years without any such strange problems.

    Hello @WABU

From a marketing perspective, such a forced setting is actually nonsense; advertising can only be shown to logged in customers.
