That’s just the times these days. You always look for the fault in others first. Of course a box can be broken sometimes, but I would bet that it’s not the box’s fault. How about, dear @Losessiok91, if you get help with the commissioning?

We can’t offer any help with your meaningless text.
If you don’t like Swisscom then choose a different provider than just leaving meaningless texts here where no one knows exactly what the problem is.
N.B. What does a DVD have to do with the TV-Box?

Hello @Losessiok91
Just ask for a technician to bring the supposedly dead TV box to life for you.
If he only has to replace the TV box, it’s a quick job.
You would also get a replacement box from support.
But without advice on what shouldn’t work, you can’t help.
Is the router really a Swisscom router?
How is the TV box connected? Lan cable or WLAN.
With WiFi you have to be close to the router in order to pair with the router, the reason is that the security key is only transmitted over a short distance.
And only then put the TV box in its place.
P.S As a technician, I have gotten every TV box to work so far…

You can’t just put a Swisscom Box in front of the TV and it works like magic. As already mentioned, have the TV box set up by a technician or friends, acquaintances, relatives, etc. The forum here can usually help too, but…!! Then we need more information. It won’t help anyone here if you just moan around here and make completely banal statements here! Remember, there are over 1 million TV subscribers with Swisscom alone, where everything runs.
A defect cannot be ruled out (very rare). You’re more likely to be doing something wrong! If you can’t, ask someone who can install it.
Thank you for your feedback. In order to best help you, we need the following:
- A detailed description of the problem
- If possible, it would be helpful to include images showing at what point you or the operating system gets stuck (updating the operating system, updating the remote control, connecting the remote control, or problems installing Google with or without a Google account)
- Information about the connection type of your TV-Box (optimally with network cable)
Otherwise it will be difficult to suggest suitable solution steps.
Thanks for your answers.
Greeting
Chris
