I personally don’t think this development is good, but that’s just “kindergarten behavior”. There has also been a lot of headwind in the media, but at some point it all falls silent and no one talks about it anymore. Swisscom will certainly not reverse this, no matter how full the forums are. If you don’t want to pay it, you just have to take the consequences yourself! The ball is in each individual’s court.

Good morning @Griesseuttaud52
My opinion is that there is massive exaggeration here.
Webmail remains free as long as you can live with the restrictions of only one address in the account and only 1 GB of storage. If you have more addresses, you have to assign them to separate logins.
I also think it’s unreasonable for Swisscom to do so. I have TV, internet, mobile + landline with Swisscom and now this. Find an email address should also be free and cost more. If Swisscom were a low-cost provider, I would still understand it. I also wrote to Swisscom. If you don’t get in touch, then it means the customer is satisfied and demands this. So always let us know if there are any changes, because Swisscom will know whether you are satisfied or not.
An email account is free and if there is not enough storage space, simply install an external email program with a local folder and also free of advertising, a backup is also possible.
E.g. the Thunderbird, https://www.thunderbird.net/de/

Yes, I was also amazed at this new fee. On the one hand, this is because I recently received an email saying that I would not expect a fee increase for 2025. Now Swisscom is doing it in a perfidious way. There is no increase in fees, but simply a new fee replaces the old model. And this despite the fact that I have had 5 email addresses for years, but never use up 1 giga of storage space. Ah yes, we already did that with the cloud. Suddenly the free storage space was defined. If you wanted more - you had gotten used to it - you either had to delete it or pay. It really can’t be that. What’s next? Will we have to pay for surfing by the minute? Where else does Swisscom want to rip off instead of offering customer service? By the way, the AI chat isn’t exactly great either. Doesn’t bring anything but trouble
I have outsourced the rest of my email account to my own login.

Thanks for your anteort. But when I click on the link I don’t understand what is written there at all. For me it’s pure chaos, but no instructions. So I don’t know how to outsource it. Sorry.
Have you been in there like the picture below?

Hello @eskuba
Take a look at the following post:
[Instructions - assign email address to a new login](https://community.swisscom.ch/t5/My-Swisscom-Login/Anleitung-Email-Konto-in-ein-neues-Login-abtritt/m-p/845549# U845549)
I explained step by step how to transfer to a new login. I hope this helps you.
I am now a pensioner and think it’s an outrage - I have therefore cancelled all Swisscom services (network telephone, mobile phone, Internet, TV, e-mail) at the end of 2024! I was a good customer for many decades. I have now cancelled everything - including two e-mail addresses, because I will no longer advertise for Bluwine. Swisscom makes billions in profits and is a state-owned company - what more could you want! This is a dangerous path for Swisscom, which will take its revenge. I’m now giving other providers an opportunity and I’m getting a much cheaper deal with the same and sometimes even better services…
Be brave - despite the effort!

Maybe Swisscom is just the pioneer 😁.
