Recording individual episodes is impossible with blue documentation

    I haven’t been able to record individual episodes of series from the guide (EPG) for at least a week.

    A series recording is possible in each case. Just like recording individual seasons.

    And it almost only affects the channels from the “blue documentary” subscription.

    There are: Discovery Channel, Geo Television, Animal Planet, RTL Living, Curiosity Channel, History Channel and Spiegel Geschichte.

    Plus AXN Black from another subscription “Top German”.

    I checked it at https://tv.blue.ch/home using the guide (EPG) there and it is possible to record individual episodes there without any restrictions.

    My devices are: Since July 19, 2024, a TV-Box 5 (IP2300) and a Internet-Box 3.

    With our old UHD box before, there were no such restrictions.

    I restarted all devices and then carried out the procedure with the 30 seconds without power.

    Conclusion: No change.

    I have attached a few screenshots for better understanding.

    It can be seen that recording individual episodes is grayed out on TV-Box and can only be selected on web TV.

    Have you had similar experiences to mine and if so, how would you proceed?

      Hello @Prio @Stephan_76 Thanks for reporting and testing. We can confirm that this is a software bug on channels without replay. We will plan a fix for the next software rollout (release still unknown)

      I tested this quickly and can confirm the behavior. Possibly can @RomanE say something about this?

      What you can do is go to the program in the normal EPG, press the Rec button, so you can record a single program. Or via web or app.

      Or you can use the search function and then scroll through the hits for the show and press Rec instead of OK.
