  • Gigaset DL380 connected, no longer working after a few days

    • Despite checking all connections, the phone still doesn't work. No display, no wobble.

Problem now solved. Everything turned off unplugged and after a few minutes reconnected and turned on. Like a “reset”.

      Cable phone works again.

    Please define "not a function":

-absolutely nothing? So the display is dark and no sounds?

-or "just" no voice transmission in the receiver?

-or something else that doesn't work?

Since today I have the same problem with a Gigaset C610. After it always worked, it suddenly says "No Base". Unfortunately, your recipe of turning everything off for several minutes didn't bring any improvement. Have you perhaps done something else that you haven't written here? Thank you in advance!

Thank you! How do I know what the base is? I pressed the button on the base, but it no longer works at all (the phone should have rung since it was right next to it). I have never registered any other phone to this base other than the one that came with it when I purchased it.

In order for the phone to work, it must be registered to a base. The C610 comes with a base and the handset is already registered to this base at the factory.
If you press the button on the base and the phone stops ringing, the radio connection is lost, so you have to re-register the handset. To do this, search for this menu item in the phone's settings and press the button on the base for 3 seconds.
If the base is not found, it either has no power or is defective.
You can also register the handset directly to the Internet box, but not all of the device's functions will be available.
