Make Blue TV the absolute No. 1 again

I can’t complain myself, only that the volume is set too low compared to the previous TV boxes.

My neighbors are also happy.

Of course there can be technical problems, but there are also customers who only see the negative.

N.b. the price is another problem.

Point 1:

Channels whose original signal is available in FHD 1080p, e.g. ARD, ZDF, TeleZüri and around 70 others should no longer be scaled down to HD 720p, but should instead be distributed in the best available image quality, as with the competition’s premium subscriptions

Point 2:

The EPG (mainly the textual descriptions of the individual programs) should no longer “drop” in terms of content, but should at least reach the level of the competing IPTV offers

Point 3:

The quality of the VoD offers (films to be purchased and rented) should be increased to the best available resolution (e.g. UHD/HDR, Dolby Vision, etc.) and the price should also be competitive again compared to international providers

Point 4:

blue TV should also be offered to non-Swisscom Internet subscribers as an OTT premium IPTV subscription, for example as a TV Air M and TV Air L subscription

The premium offer in Italian is a complete rip-off. Sorry, you can’t call it anything else. Costs exactly the same as the DE/FR packages, but the offer is practically zero.

If you want an ITA premium package, you should at least offer something real (Sky channels, for example) and not cheap pseudo channels like “Pretty TV”, which, to be honest, looks like a rip-off. Or at least adjust the price. Not like that.

When it comes to pay TV from Italy, there is no way around Sky Italia. Unfortunately, this company does not make any contracts with foreign TV providers. Things are different with Sky Deutschland.

There is already a lot of potential for improvement at Swisscom:

For example, the OTT offer is more of a joke (e.g. no TV subscription offer available including a fast forward function in the recordings.)

In order to catch up with Teleboy and Co, Swisscom urgently needs to get through the books here.

My wish:

Make recordings on PC into independent MP4 files “downloadable”.

• Support for multiple Swisscomlogins + profiles (e.g. family. in-account profiles would be useless IMO, as the Swisscomlogin is far more powerful than, for example, a Netflix account)
  • At this point, the topic of usable 2FA would also be worth discussing again.
• More love for Android + Apple TV apps
• Multi-language + wider surround support for VODs
• Static quality settings for ABR (I prefer to buffer 2 seconds longer rather than worry about compression artifacts)

Borrow recordings with other parts. Possibly in a community system.

Sky Sports:
Please finally integrate the Sky Sports channels as linear channels (analogous to My Sports channels). The app is absolutely not user-friendly for switching back and forth between games that are running at the same time.

a) Remove micro-stutters in the streaming apps

b) Skysport channels each as a separate program slot in the channel list

c) change epg “supplier”.

1. All common channels in FHD (1080) are broadcast via Blue TV

2. Integrate SRFPlay, ARD, ZDF, ARTE media libraries more deeply into the Blue TV OS, including search

3. MyTV should be able to be filled with your own criteria
(I create a profile of what I like to watch. E.g. thrillers, entertainment, documentaries, possibly also with my favorite actors)
My TV then puts together my personal program from the future and from replays of the last 7 days.

4. Blue Sport’s offer should definitely be enriched with individual football games from the Bundesliga/Premier League.
