PAD for bluewin app

  • Hello. In our household we have 2 iPads in addition to the TV. Unfortunately, the oldest iPad, which I only used to watch TV, no longer works. I’m now looking for a cheap alternative because I only use this PAD to watch TV. I came across the Lenovo Tab M8 (4th Gen) pad. The bluewin app always worked well on the iPad, even though it wasn’t the latest version. My question, how can I know if this Lenovo Pad is compatible with bluewin app and how well it works? Do any of you use Lenovo and can tell me more about it? Or can someone recommend a cheap pad that works well with bluewin. Thank you very much.😊

      At some point every device will…

      With the Galaxy Tab A9+ you get 2 Android versions and 4 years of security updates. More expensive Samsung tablets take longer to get updates, as does Apple.

      You have to see it that way. It always depends on what your requirements are and what you need the tablet for. Just for watching TV as @Esthi mentioned, the Tab A9+ is thick enough. For this very low price there isn’t much better on the market. You can use the blue TV app on this device for many years to come! The battery will probably run out before then.

      The A9+ runs the latest Android 14 version. Android 15 is coming too. For comparison… blue TV app currently requires at least Android 8 or higher.

    My wife watches Bluewin TV with the iPad 6th generation without any problems.

    There are always good used cars with a guarantee at the link below.

    Yes that works. You have to download the blue TV app from the Google Play Store on Android and then use it. Note… on the tablet in question from Lenovo, the display is only 8 inches. Do you want such a small tablet? If you want a slightly larger display, I would recommend the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+. This has an 11 inch display and currently costs 178 at Digitec, so it’s also very cheap.

    @Esthi

    You can think of it like this… have you used an iPad Mini? This is comparable to the 8 inches. All other iPads are also larger and you’ve probably gotten used to this size. Then I can only advise you not to use such a small tablet. Even just watching TV like you mentioned isn’t really fun. Except… they’re deliberately looking for such a small tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ in question also has an ideal format for watching TV and if you want to use it long-term, you will also get relatively long software support despite the low price. As I said, I would definitely recommend this to you and definitely not the Lenovo mentioned. @Esthi

    You’re welcome. If you have any further questions about the tablet, just let us know here.

    Note: Since this is an Android tablet, you will need to create a Google account if you don’t already have one and log in with it on the device. The Play Store is the app store on Android, where you can install apps such as the blue TV app. The access data for the blue TV app are of course the same as you used on the old iPad.

    and how long updates will come to the Android tablet system that still work with the Swisscom app…

    is again a different or new question
