3 Tipps gegen Abo-Sorgen

Take back control with these 3 tips

Are you struggling to stay on top of your subscription costs and your various subscriptions? These 3 simple tips will help you bring your mobile, Internet and TV subscriptions back under control, and save you money too. We tell you how.

1. Keep it all in one place

What with Netflix, Disney+, Sky and all the other subscriptions you have nowadays, managing costs and subscriptions can soon get out of hand. Is that the case with your mobile, Internet and TV subscriptions too? Our advice is to get everything from the same provider. That way, you can keep track of everything and take advantage of more attractive conditions.

2. Combine subscriptions and save

Whether as a family, flat share or couple - the more people with a Swisscom subscription living in your household, the more you benefit. From the second person with a blue Mobile subscription, you receive the 50% ‘We are Family!’ discount. You also benefit if you take out subscriptions for different products: If you combine blue Mobile with blue Internet, you will receive a 20.– Combi discount every month.

3. Permanent discounts all the way

The great thing is that, once activated, the Combi and “We are Family!” discounts stay active for life. Because they are not tied to a specific sales promotion, the discounts do not expire. This means that, provided you continue to meet the eligibility criteria, you can hold onto your discount into your twilight years.

Unfortunately, there are situations where the price of the Swisscom subscription exceeds the user’s budget, even with cheap offers, and they are therefore forced to look at competitors.

Despite all the Swisscom combination discounts, you can usually travel cheaper with the Swisscom discount brand WINGO. In addition, Wingo promotions also apply to existing customers.

But you have to be aware that Wingo is a purely online provider and the hotline times are limited…

As an old man (you’re no longer so up to date at the headquarters! Why doesn’t Swisscom make a link that automatically offers you a possibly better subscription or says that you can’t get a better ride anymore (except by taxi to the afterlife)

Unfortunately, this is not as easy as you imagine. You have to see that many customers have subscribed to additional services and subscriptions, whether they actually use them remains to be seen. This depends enormously on the needs of each individual person. In the end, of course, the customer has to decide for himself what he needs and is willing to pay. I know that something like this can be a challenge, especially for older students or if you don’t know much about it. In such a case, I always advise… it’s best to have someone from the family, son, daughter, friends, etc. take a look at it completely. That’s how I do it with my Eltern too. However, you can also get advice on the hotline.

It’s a joke. The TV subscription S for CHF 5 is no longer available, Swisscom informed me in May. Now the same subscription S (which apparently no longer exists) costs CHF 14.90. For more TV channels. The Gugger knows which ones. Certainly not the ones that don’t interest me at all. I have everything at Swisscom. My wife also has a Natelavo with Swisscom. All in all we pay over 3k per year. The whole alleged combo great price offer is a pure marketing gimmick packaged for the stupid who don’t notice. As soon as we find time over Christmas at the end of the year. Let’s cancel what can be canceled, then the rest after that. Then Swisscom will only see us from behind in one direction. They’re not normal. Simply awesome.

And which supposed TV channels are these. So the ones I wanted to watch are not there. And I can save myself Hartz4 and Mediashop. It cannot be the case that you simply cancel any offers as a marketing strategy in order to make more money. Demands 3 times more and doesn’t say clearly what exactly the additional performance is. Swisscom doesn’t care and so do I. For me it was the starting signal to cancel everything anyway and only resort to minimal offers. I am no longer willing to accept overpriced offers. I also called Swisscom twice because discounts had been canceled, but nothing to me. The salespeople are trained in prevention policy and will brush you off. 3k away and you don’t care because you have enough stupid customers who will do anything. Finally, I’m done.
