Swisscom Pay: Experience and solution with Prepaid-Guthaben

I had the problem that I couldn’t use my Prepaid-Guthaben to pay with Swisscom Pay (formerly known as Easy Pay and NATEL® Pay). I tried paying with Swisscom Pay on various platforms such as Google Play Store, Microsoft Store, Epic Store, Google One, etc. Paying with Swisscom Pay should be made on these platforms according to the Swisscom Pay page ([https://www.swisscom.ch/en/residential/mobile-subscription/swisscom-pay.html](https://www.swisscom. ch/en/residential/mobile-subscription/swisscom-pay.html)) may be possible. Unfortunately, I only received numerous error messages.

Unfortunately, extensive contact with Swisscom customer support was unable to help me. I couldn’t find any solutions in this forum that could have helped me either.

However, I have now found a solution that I would like to share with the community in the hope that it can help other people too.

Solution: I bought a little something at a Selecta machine and used my Swisscom Prepaid-Guthaben as a payment method. (Paying at the Selecta machine works by scanning the QR code on the machine and then sending an SMS code to Selecta. You can then buy a product from the machine with the Swisscom Prepaid-Guthaben for 30 seconds.) After this little I was able to use Swisscom Pay as a payment method on all platforms.
