Press release unclear! Is there still a free email or not at all anymore?

  • Press release unclear! Is there still a free email or not at all anymore?

    * Should the now free email also cost or is it just the basic?

so could I still have a free email with the light?

Unfortunately, this is poorly and unclearly written in the press release

If there is no longer a free email, I will delete the email and turn it into one

Free providers like * hotmail, gmx, gmail or Mail.ch, for example, have great mail and even

for just CHF 1.- (month) service and without advertising..

and then they say Swisscom made 1 billion in profit? and not even free email!?

    Hello… that doesn’t work

    Thanks, I’m done

HERE COPY from the PRESS release:

Now Swisscom customers have to pay for Bluewin email

The popular Basic subscription to Bluewin E-Mail is receiving an upgrade, but will no longer be free in the future. Operator Swisscom justifies the step with financial motives. There is a free solution for existing customers – under two conditions.

*If a customer reads this, he’s already turned 180 and isn’t reading properly anymore.. Sorry Swisscom.. you did a really BAD job this time

This is not a press release, but the wording from Blick. Swisscom has no influence on what they write. You have to complain about Blick 😉

You can find Swisscom media releases [here.](https://www.swisscom.ch/de/about/news/archiv.html#NewsArchive%5Bcategory%5D=&NewsArchive%5BendDate%5D=26.04.2024&NewsArchive%5BfilterState%5D=false&NewsArchive%5Bperiod%5D %5B%5D=1&NewsArchi ve%5Bquery%5D=&NewsArchive%5Bsection%5D%5B%5D=gcr%3ApressRoom%2Fsection%2Finformation&NewsArchive%5Bsection%5D%5B%5D=gcr%3ApressRoom%2Fsection%2FpressReleases&NewsArchive%5BstartDate%5D=03/26/2024) There is none (yet?) on the subject of email. Remember - as an existing customer you don’t have anything to do with the new email at the moment - Swisscom will come to you as soon as the time is right. From that point on you have three months to decide what you want to do.

You can find everything official about the change here and [here](https ://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/hilfe/e-mail/neues.html?campID=SC_neues-webmail) - what then does Blick and Co. make of it do is another question.

is answered in its entirety in the Blick article, despite the travel-related headline, you just have to read everything. And you should have enough media expertise not to confuse an article like this with a press release from Swisscom.
