From what I see in the official press release, there is talk of only one account and under 90% capacity used. With multiple accounts I would expect to stay on the Basic plan. The first 3 months are free.
If you don’t plan on paying for the Basic plan in the future, I would recommend migrating the additional accounts under separate accounts.
A contact with Customer Service should definitely clarify these points.
Good morning,
I changed the PW to my Bluewin E-Mail Pro and suddenly I have the Bluewin E-Mail basic subscription without any warning!!!
Having 3 e-mail addresses, I used to see them together while now I only see 1 at a time, and to see the others I always have to click on the icon on the right and I no longer have an overall view!
this considerably complicates the work:-((!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why do we change programs when they were fine before?
Is there a solution to this problem?
Thanks, regards
Rico
I also have the same problem it has become more inconvenient to see all the emails. Luckily I look at them in Outlook or on my phone. What annoys me is that they say they charge for emails because they have improved the program: absolutely not, in fact they have made it worse. In my opinion, they shouldn’t charge for emails, it’s a lack of respect for customers because there are a thousand other ways to get emails for free.

after the change announced above on 04.24.2024, the Bluewin E-Mail Pro subscription no longer exists
What’s more, each customer was personally notified of the change to their subscription

YES it’s true
- Is there a solution to this problem?…
the best is to manage bluewin accounts with an external messaging program, such as - Thunderbird - Outlook - Mail - etc, considering Webmail as a server
- What annoys me is that they say they charge for emails because they have improved the program: absolutely not, in fact it has gotten worse
the old version of Webmail had become insecure over time, it needed to be changed
the functions of the new Webmail are faster and more numerous, all it takes is curiosity and time
Please note that this transfer deleted ALL my secondary address contacts and all my folders.
I copied the contacts from the main email to the secondary addresses and I redid the distribution lists.
It was a lot of fun.
As for the folders, I found them.
It’s a shame that there isn’t a tutorial that explains the changes made, and that you can’t find the contacts and folders as you left them.
@Zeitzibal77 Yes, this is precisely the idea behind the new subscriptions, which are independent of Swisscom’s Internet, TV and mobile subscriptions.

@Gaeilgeoir, I looked for written confirmation but unfortunately I can’t find it anywhere.
I wouldn’t want to change internet operator and find myself without @bluewin email addresses and without all the emails that would be deleted.
@Zeitzibal77 I didn’t even look, I must correct myself, as shown in the image, Bluewin E-mail Basic is only available with an Internet or mobile subscription. Sorry, if you want to keep Bluewin Mail, the only option is Bluewin Mail free or advanced (9 CHF).
