TV-Box as WiFi extender

It would be great if the TV-Box could act as a WiFi extender/repeater, especially if connected via Ethernet cable.

There are rumours that Apple is working on adding this functionality to Apple TVs.

The news was circulating in the Apple related online media space, speculating that Apple is working on reviving the wireless networking offering but with a twist. Instead of offering dedicated devices, the WLAN functionality would be implemented by brining the Airport functionality to the Apple TVs.
