Blue TV copy protection

Hello everyone

Another day and another problem with Blue. I use the Blue App via the QL TV-Box.

I suddenly have the following problem:

“One of your devices or cables does not fully support the copy protection used by Swisscom blue TV. If you are using an AV receiver, please disconnect it. Some devices or cables may prevent playback of protected content if they are not HDCP 2.2 compliant.”

The problem only occurs on the TV.

With the risk of now asking the obvious: Is the entire chain of devices HDCP 2.2 capable?

It would certainly help if you could briefly explain your setup with the corresponding model names 😊.

Thanks for the obvious request 😁.

I’ve been running Blue for months via the same QL box and the same Philips TV. Nothing has changed about it at all. That’s why I strongly assume that all devices comply with the HDCP 2.2 standard.

Is it possible that something has been adjusted at Blue regarding copy protection or the HDCP 2.2 standard?

It often helps if you do the following on the Quickline Box.
- Go to Settings at the top right and then select Apps.
- Select Quickline TV
- Force Quit and then select Clear Cache
- Start the Quickline TV app and then the BlueTV app

Thanks for your quick reply.

I noticed the problems with QL, but they were a long time ago.

The TV, the QL app and Blue TV are all up to date. Nothing has been changed or replaced regarding the devices (QL box, cable, TV) or the connection.
