TV BOX 5 so far via Powerlan (Devolo). There are always misfires, regularly interrupted. Connection from the Internet box to the TV BOX 5 via LAN, only possible with great effort.
Now, oh wonder, discovered the plus button under the box, thanks to your contributions. As mentioned, not a single syllable about this possibility in the manual or hotline.
Result:
Finally perfect data flow, signal strength 3, I can hardly believe it. Thanks to all!
Normally, when you switch it on for the first time and the TV-Box is connected to the Internet Box via LAN, a menu should appear which connection.
D-LAN (Powerline) is the worst variant because the D-LAN can go into standby and the connection is therefore interrupted, the + button is only needed with a WLAN connection and It looks like the TV-Box tried to establish a connection via WLAN because the D-LAN connection was interrupted.
How far is the TV-Box from the Internet box? If it only has two lightweight walls or a reinforced concrete ceiling in between, the WLAN-Box is the better option, the best is a LAN connection.

In this case, always connect directly to the Internet box with a LAN cable. This is the best and must not be interrupted after switching on the TV-Box.
As I said, the + button is only needed if the TV-Box is connected via WLAN.

Did exactly that but the interruptions have been there since box 5. Internet box restarted, TVBox 5 reset, cable plugged into another output of the IB, nothing helped.
And you used the included LAN cable which is connected directly to the Internet box, if possible only use the 1Gbit socket.
How exactly does this happen with the interruptions, does the image disappear or is it blocked?
You say something that it works with WLAN but not with LAN?
You mention that there is still D-LAN (powerline) and where is the first powerline plugged in, directly into the Internet box or something.
In any case, if there is an Internet Anschluss with copper and the D-LAN is plugged directly into the Internet box, there can be problems (malfunctions).
