Archive email from bluewin on an external hard drive

The only option is to use an email program to download the email to your PC or MAC and then save it there.

I do this myself on the PC with MS Outlook 2010 and on the iMAC with MS Outlook 2011. Of course, other email programs can also be used for backing up.

I use the free program MailStore Home. The emails can be easily archived and searched. It is also possible to back up all data to an external hard drive.

I was of the opinion that you wanted to back up the email data in order to use it again as a backup for the email program if the operating system fails and the email program is reinstalled.
