Take a look => here where the topic of restricted mode is described.
There is also the option on the box. Simply go to the gear on the main page of the YT app and then select Restricted Mode.
But I don’t know what happens if you log in with another YT account or whether the protection can be bypassed like that.

I’ve played around a bit now. Conclusion This mode can be bent.
If you set this, it applies to all profiles including guests on the device in question. However, every guest and logged in user can deactivate the mode again. In other words, if you have children who are only a little experienced in using YT, it is no problem for them to deactivate the restricted mode.
Possibly Does anyone else in the community know a better solution?
