Program Guide

The “Program Guide” on Swisscom TV is rubbish, erroneous very often and unacceptable.

If Swisscom is unable to find a company to manage this guide, please delete it.

How many times have I recorded a show, film or documentary and ended up with something completely different?

I have already complained about this. I was told that Swisscom was going to change companies for the guide. But we must admit that with the new society it is worse than before. Example today: Bach’s Brandenburg concertos and that is not at all what is advertised.

It is clear that as in IT, so-called technical advances are not really and very often sources of errors.

YES, there is no doubt everything can be improved to perfection and in particular the TV-Guide (EPG) 😠

these few tips can bring a little balm to the difficulties encountered

@RiklyJJ Yes, this nagging subject of the defective EPG, moreover in other languages, it is just as serious, has unfortunately not remained a priority since the change of supplier ago a few years ago. Here is the original discussion thread on this subject 🤔:

Good morning,

I would like to know when Swisscom intends to resolve the problems with the TV guide, because it is becoming annoying between the errors in the programs displayed and the shift in program times.

If we wish to make recordings, we are obliged to schedule them at least 15 to 20 minutes in advance and even more for the end of these.

With current technology I find it strange that the current system is much less efficient, that at the time of video cassettes where we entered a code for the recordings and that this one even if the broadcast was late adapted it automatically to this one.

Cordialement

I have done tests these last few days and for most of the channels where I make recordings so I will take the most common “TRS1/TF1/M6/” and I pass the recording is significantly shifted on its channels it is generally missing more than half of it “hello change of provider for TV programs” and what about the information provided in the programs you think you are seeing a particular program and you find yourself seeing something else.

I’m not generally annoying but people think we’re stupid
