@bitracer I use TvBox21 partly with wifi. And others do it too. It’s not recommended and it’s even unstable at times, but it works.

Then it is a specific feature that only works with the Swisscom router.
In all Swisscom commissioning examples, the SB21 is connected via cable to the router or again via cable to the Wlan box.
For the use that @Rabbit74 wants to make of it, we can conclude that the only option is the network cable.
Should simply set up the TV box with Ethernet on the external router and if it works, then disconnect the cable from the TV box, then the following screen appears (in German for me), where you can select Wlan, let’s see if it works, I have never tried this with an external router:

Support supports it…. The problem is that the monopoly is not over yet and we continue, for reasons related to security (and not marketing as in my opinion), to want to use only “certified” Swisscom devices. Which have absolutely nothing more (except configuration restrictions) compared to the other much more renowned ones 😀
