Deluxe started neue Musiksender

The first of the 14 announced Deluse music specialty channels have now started, free to receive (also in the future) via Astra 19.2 degrees East.
Deluxe Rock, Deluxe Rap, Deluxe Dance by Kontor and Deluxe Flashback are the first four that have now gone on air.

(Frequency 12.699 GHz vertical, symbol rate SR 23500, error correction FEC ¾ in DVB-S2 8psk modulation method)

That would be something again after so many stations have stopped broadcasting in the last few weeks, unfortunately only in SD for the time being.

What do you think, even if it’s advertising-financed (it shouldn’t be as crazy with Replay), it’s certainly an asset.

I’m currently watching these channels via satellite. I’m particularly impressed with Deluxe Flashback… SD doesn’t bother much either, it would really be an enrichment in the Blue TV channel list.

@shindyfresh Deluxe music channels are free TV, MTV extra channels are pay TV. You can estimate for yourself what will ultimately be cheaper to feed in ;-) Of course Swisscom could also put together an MTV package, but whether that would be worth it is doubtful.

While we’re on the subject of music stations, perhaps as a supplement to Now 70’s, 80s, 90s (new Now Rock) there’s something new for the older generation, That’s 60s, is definitely something different 😀. I would welcome it if he came along.

I’m with you 😉 That was music too, not like today, at least partly 😉

The channels aren’t bad. What strikes me is that the channels are not packed with advertising. Of course tastes are different but the 4 channels would make the music offering on Swisscom more attractive and they would be German channels and not UK ones.

@Andy7171 Then that’s just the way it is, So what? Nobody is forced to watch them. The British music channels, I don’t want to miss, are by far better than the highly praised pay TV channels, such as the MTV channels, which are overpriced by Viacom. Sure, it’s personal preference, I know. But I’m already a bit old 🤪, so I don’t have a heart attack when there’s an advertisement somewhere, so I continue to advocate for the 60s station mentioned above. The great ad-free rip-offs from Viacom don’t offer that either. Don’t be mad, just my opinion 😀.

@Andy7171 I’m not angry 😀. I watch what I want and unfortunately the 60’s channel doesn’t exist, it would be a cool thing (from my point of view), as I wrote, if you don’t want it, you don’t have to 🤪. But just because some people don’t want to because of advertising doesn’t mean others have to do without it 😀. You didn’t write either. It’s not up to us to decide whether it happens or not.

Well, if you’re old, I’m a young shooter 😂 The main thing is that the channels are on offer if you want to watch it and if you don’t then there’s YouTube in the new age.
