FIFA+ yes, Disney+ no

What do you think about the fact that Swisscom has now activated the FIFA+ app on the TV box, but “refuses”, probably for financial reasons, to activate Disney+?

@roku73 Is it financial reasons or is the reason that Disney doesn’t provide an app compatible with the Blue World? If the latter wasn’t the case, I wouldn’t understand it, to be honest. But even then, regardless of whether this strange football organization provides an app with old games and self-promotion, with English commentary, I would have no understanding.

It is also possible that Disney+ has exclusive contracts with other providers. Then, regardless of the price, it would not be possible for Swisscom to offer this channel for legal reasons.

As far as I know, only those who access the apps from Google Playstore, such as here. E.g. Quickline.

Abroad, for example on Sky with the Sky Q Box, Diseny+ is available.

In addition to contractual, technical or financial reasons, marketing considerations could also play a role at Disney: after all, they have now overtaken Netflix in terms of reach and perhaps think they can do it without Swisscom etc., which is quite realistic. I also find the software used on ATV to be the best of all streaming services (personal opinion).

Is there any provider that has integrated the Disney+ app into its own TV box without the Google Play Store or Apple App Store?

They are not providers, but the app is also available on common game consoles.
