iCloud+ with your own domain: your experiences?
Hello everyone,
I am currently using the Cloudflare mailing service for our domains. However, it is only possible to generate an alias for forwarding, but not to use the SMTP server for this.
So I’m toying with iCloud+ at the moment, but I want to make sure it actually works before I change the DNS settings.
My goal would be for emails to be received and sent via the domain(s) as if it were a “real” address. Important: the emails must also be accessible and createable on Android. (75% home is on Android).
I read divisive statements on the internet that it works or it doesn’t.
Do you know more about it? Can you recommend this to me? Or do you know other providers?
I would like a rather cheap and usable email (in my opinion, iCloud is secure and also great despite the US data center). I find such email add-ons for the domain to be relatively expensive and CatchAll doesn’t work either, which explicitly works with iCloud.
Kærar kveðjur - herzliche Grüsse
Dominik
