    • For security reasons, there is a timeout after a certain time for OnLine sessions. In webmail, you can ensure that the email you are writing is regularly saved every x minutes in the drafts folder, you can then reconnect after a timeout, open the email and continue to to write.

      If you need more comfort in messaging, I recommend using an email program like Outlook or Thunderbird (freeware). So you won’t have an advertising banner, even without additional payment.

    I have the same problem of closing sessions unexpectedly and at short intervals.

    I followed the suggestion to use an email program (Mail in Edge). I can read my emails, but I no longer have access to my Swisscom contacts. How to import them?

      An alternative that I use to make the preparation of long texts more reliable (also valid for this forum) is to prepare the message with a PC text editor like notepad++ and, at the end, select all the text and copy/paste it into the webmail/forum message window.

      For copying the contacts, the theoretical answer is that you simply need to export the Webmail contacts to CSV and import these contacts with the other mail program. Result nothing is imported!!!

      The reason is that the names used for fields in different systems rarely match.

      I have an example of field comparison between Webmail and Google Contacts. The difference is obvious.

      The solution is to manually edit the field names in the Webmail export to match the other so that the fields are included, but this requires good knowledge of editing csv files with a text editor .

      @Gugrausipp51 Hello

      As an alternative, I recommend using free email software such as Outlook or Thunderbird and on a Mac the original Mail application just as if you are using a tablet or smartphone use the original application. It is much more convenient than using Bluewin Webmail.

      Have a nice day Doremi
