Error messages forum

  • @Swisscom I just tried to search for my contribution to the lock sets in this forum. The title was “*00#”. Of course without the goose feet.

The nerd behind the screen can already imagine that this search is a bit ambitious. Is ‘*’ a wildcard? Or even a regular expression?

Let’s leave out what the developer did NOT take into account. The fundamental question from the exercise is: Where can I post error messages about this forum?

And the secondary theater of war is this: Access to this forum is extremely difficult. It used to be a submenu from the Help menu. These are no longer new. But can search the community. Unfortunately without an answer to “*00#” and because I can’t find anything, I would like to write a post? I search and search and search and find access in the footer (“Swisscom Community”)…

The behavior when the browser is set to EN as a German-Swiss user and the crutch-like procedure of changing the language for forum access is incomprehensible from a usability perspective. Especially for the forum. MySwisscom has found another fun way to hide the language settings on the website. 😞

I would be happy to receive any remaining feedback.

Thank you @ThomasS. By the way, the search is now underway. Is probably creating a latency in some index.

I actually want the language settings as a browser setting.

    😉

But I’m in the wrong place here, I know that…

    🤔

I actually expect language settings and logout at the top right of the avatar / user symbol.

    🙋🏻‍♂️
