It may well be that not all devices / brands are supported. Moreover, Swisscom does not announce such information in advance. As an alternative, we recommend the Swisscom Box 21, which is superior to the app in terms of picture quality, ease of use and performance.
Sony as far as I know uses Android TV, which is also used by some other manufacturers and also various set-top boxes. We'll have to wait until Swisscom also honours this platform with a blue TV app. If at all then it should be sometime this year (gut feeling).
This is not about the TV brand at all, but about the Smart TV operating system used by the corresponding TV manufacturer! There is no app for Sony missing here, but an app for Android TV (which happens to be used by Sony - and by others). And by the way, there are other - "established" - TV brands on the market - but just, only the operating system used counts. And when Swisscom will bring a blue TV app for which operating system will be announced when the time comes. As already written several times above. As is known, there is no information on what and for which system an app is (or is not) in the works. But one can assume that something is more likely to come for less "exotic" systems, just wait.
Info:
Video on Demand, live sports events and encrypted channels cannot be played on some computers, monitors or tablets. The reason for this is the lack of digital rights management support on the devices. In order for all content to be played, the browser must support DRM and all components (monitor, cable, graphics card) must be HDCP 2.0-capable.
