I travel to the US 3-4 times a year and have many friends there.
When I get disconnected on WhatApp and reconnect, sometimes Swisscom makes it a regular international call.
In order to pacify me with the additional charges, they gave me free international calling for a year that included the US.
Next time I went to the US, my data did not work with the intercontinental pack, so I took advantage of the free US calls. Upon return, I find with International calling you can call TO the US from CH but not in reverse. This is the same silly thing where I can call within the EU outside of CH but not in CH?!?!
These charges are high, and I do not agree with them, nor do I accept the poor explanation the representative give when they offer you a 'gift'
I went back to the US and the intercontinental did not work again. I only get Edge or 3G while my friend and new work phone gets 5G almost everywhere in California. I cannot even download a webpage to look at my Swisscom account.
