Eurosport 2

@Gruffehio15 Yes, unfortunately that’s the case, Eurosport 2 D is now only available in the Top German + package. Which subscription do you have? If you had the old TVL or in the last 6 months.

I won’t let Swisscom blackmail me. Either Eurosport 2 comes back into the basic package or I look for another provider!

There’s nothing you can do about that, it’s just that other providers don’t have Eurosport 2 in their basic offering, there may be a few exceptions.

I’m assuming that Swisscom won’t allow itself to be blackmailed by you.

Better communication and more transparency would be good for Swisscom… and would also lead to less confusion for customers!

It’s no longer on my subscription either. But I noticed that Eurosport 2 no longer says SD but HD, that could be the reason.

@to33 In Top German +, Eurosport 2 has “always” been in HD, at least since I switched to Swisscom (2018). Eurosport 2 may have been a concession from Swisscom in the SD version because the channel is actually a Pay TV Light channel; I have not seen Eurosport 2 in a “Basic” subscription from any other provider. I assume this has now been adjusted (needed to be adjusted). By the way, also in the French language profile.

Hi everyone…my solution was the following:

- TV L switched to M (saves 10 CHF per month)

- Top German+ package booked (costs 9 CHF per month)

The end result was Eurosport 2 again and 1 CHF saved.

The few channels that are effectively missing were previously unknown to me or Ita/Fra, which I ultimately never watch.

I called support and was promised that there was a breakdown and that Eurosport 2 should continue to be included for existing customers at no extra cost. Please call support! I have M package myself.

But this only applies to subscription L, see also post #11:

“Anyone who has already subscribed to a TV L and used premium channels regularly can continue to use them free of charge.”

There are exactly three options:

- Pay

or

- Avoid Eurosport 2

or

- Change provider

Hello folks. I tried to call the hotline this morning. The nice gentleman explained to me that Swisscom had made a mistake when switching to blue. They will reconnect Eurosport 2 and Miscellaneous to me on my M subscription. Apparently there are more channels missing, but I didn’t notice that. IMPORTANT you have to call so you can get back to your switched off channels.

I was told today by support that this was not possible (despite TV L) and that the only option would be to subscribe to Top + for 9.-……
Now what’s true?
Does it depend on who you have in support?
