No outgoing or incoming calls to the landline possible?

    • Hello everyone. When I want to make a phone call, it keeps crackling (not hissing) and there is no connection. When I try to answer my number externally, a normal ringtone can be heard. Internet and TV work.

    Years ago I also experienced this loud, constant cracking and had the batteries replaced and it was ok again. Now also changed - nothing, bought new ones - nothing!!!

    Urgently ask for advice/help etc. I’m retired and happy to have understandable language 😉

      Please restart the Internet box i.e. power off, wait 10s, power on.

    Have you ever turned off the router for 10 seconds and then restarted it?

    10 seconds without power to the Internet box helps with most telephone connection problems.
