Import config from Internetbox-3 to Internetbox-4

I have ordered the new Internetbox-4 router and I am wondering if there is any easy to transfer setting from the old 3 router? I have a lot of custom settings (static DHCP assignments, port forwards, VPN etc) and it will be painful to have to transfer all the settings manually.

Is it possible to export config from the old router and import into the new router or are config formats different between the two devices?

If not is there any other mechanism to acheive this?

How can I change the settings of my Internet-Box?

You can easily manage your Internet-Box 3 settings via the web portal. You can change your WLAN access data, configure Parental Controls and access an overview of all connected devices.

On computers

Enter http://internetbox.home or 192.168.1.1 in your Internet browser. Please note that you only have access when your home network is connected to your Internet-Box. Enter your existing admin login. If you don't know the password, click "Create new password" to set up a new password.

On smartphones

You can access and change your main settings at home on your smartphone via the Home app.

How can I back up and restore the configuration?

Once you have set it up, save your Internet-Box configuration. This lets you restore preferred settings after replacing a device, for instance. To do so, go to the web portal > Internet-Box > Save configuration.

@Miethubeip10 Yes, the difference between IB3 and IB4 is not that big, it should work

yes, but it is possible that some specific parameters must be reconfigured correctly
