After the Paramount Network was discontinued and as @CC1835 has already reported in the station logo line, when the station slot was already replaced by 27 twentyseven Mediaset (of course the EPG would not have to be adjusted), the other CBS/ Viacom channel Spike also discontinued. Maybe you could use this channel space to place an Italian channel suggested above, just as a suggestion 😉.

I expected today to be a mess like GO-TV, because many Italian channels changed LCN today, but apart from Twentyseven everything stayed the same as it was here.

Radio 105 TV could also be a replacement - it’s “just” a visual radio, but 105 is very popular and of course it’s better than nothing.

It seems as if Swisscom has cut the signal from 27 Twentyseven Mediaset. Formally correct, because there is no longer any signal available from the original Paramount Network, and it is not simply a case of unnaming, like its British counterpart. Then my suggestion would be to officially release “27 Twentyseven Mediaset” the next time it goes live.

Due to a request in the Italian-speaking forum, I wanted to once again suggest perhaps doing something for the Top Italia package. Although it has the same price as the German or French counterpart, the selection is considerably smaller. With the pay TV channels, this is of course a special matter of negotiation, I am aware of that.

UPC, for example, has Crime + Investigations, Cartoon Network and Boomerang in the Italian version in a similar package. That’s just a suggestion too 🙂.

Is the list for the next channel adjustment in the “regardTV.net” forum definitive or could other channels appear? At the moment it looks very disappointing.

@CC1835 Since there is no official Swisscom list, it is of course not definitive, you will then be informed here on the day on which the changes come. It may well be that channels will be added that have not yet appeared in the background. Sometimes channels are added to the named forum until “Change Day” (a little reminiscence of the old Cablecom days 🤣). So the best thing is to be patient and wait to see what will actually happen.

Why hope for any (Italian) TV channels from the “old aunt” Swisscom?! This is a vain labor of love. Anyone who wants to see more has long since installed Sky Italia - especially in Ticino. And in southern Ticino you can already get a more extensive TV range into your home via DVB-T/DTT from Lombardy. Sky Italia, tivùsat and DVB-T/DTT are booming in Ticino, which is easily evident from the many (new) satellite and DVB-T/DTT systems.
