Hello swisscom is asking too much for VOd films. For example, the film Dune costs 25.90 fr, which is very expensive. and the film isn’t even complete. Suddenly credits for the film even though the story is not finished. It’s a theft to set such an expensive price when in general Vods cost between 6 and 8 francs,

@Lord_Zeratul This is a “Customers helping customers” forum. We can’t say much about the prices, it’s a Swisscom decision.
Personally, I too find it too expensive, even if these high prices only apply to new films. If a film is not complete, I would report it to the hotline 0800 800 800, which is obviously not acceptable.

the FIRST part of DUNE has a duration of 155 minutes. or 2h35

BRAVO to Denis Villeneuve for this very successful adaptation

Looking forward to the next episode(s) from the same director or perhaps from another, who knows?

Note: the end of the film is termine with the phrase: “This is only the beginning…” 😀

Frank Herbert’s science fiction novel: DUNE is generally divided into three volumes

Book one: Dune, reading 10:11 a.m.

Second book: Muad’Dib, reading 7h42

Book three: The Prophet, reading 6h55

The Appendices and the Lexicon of the Imperium, in separate publications

DUNE, SHOULD YOU READ THE NOVEL BEFORE SEEING THE FILM?

In this first part, Denis Villeneuve managed to outline the main lines of the plot of Dune in such a way that the general public understands the major issues of the book, or rather half of it of the novel adapted into the film expected in theaters on September 15.

It is therefore not essential to read the novel or see the version by David Lynch or the television version before discovering the feature film by Denis Villeneuve. But if you want to dive headlong into the rich universe of the Dune cycle, all the works, written or visual, are worth a look!

Especially if the first part of Dune is successful at the cinema, a second part - or even a third - could be filmed! Which will give you plenty of time to read or reread Frank Herbert’s book.

In comparison, the Star Wars saga was adapted into 6 episodes + other recent derivations…

The Lord of the Rings in 3 parts, same for The Hobbit

etc.
