Radio: Radio text and cover display

    • Since radio is mostly a minor matter here, and yet is still important for some, I think it’s time that something should be done here too. The radio menu somehow technically stopped.

    It’s nice that the screen switches to black after a certain time and only the channel is displayed, which is nice on the screen and saves energy on OLED TVs.

    What I and certainly others are missing is the possibility of being able to see more information about a program, i.e. the radio text (artist, title, etc.) as well as the cover (if the radio station broadcasts the information). The title and artist are now shown on most radio stations (on internet radio), sometimes even the cover of the album/single, unfortunately not on Blue TV.

    What would you think of that? Is that asking too much of me?

      provided that the decision-makers / technicians / developers actually concentrate on these improvements for listening to the radio via Swisscom blue TV 😀

    This morning I asked the helpdesk whether “Radio Text” would ever be introduced. Unfortunately I got a negative answer saying it wasn’t an option… What a shame. In view of the switching off of the CH FM stations (with radio text even on the oldest steam radios), it would be high time to upgrade the radio function on SwisscomTV. Unfortunately nothing has happened since the first hour of SCTV. Unfortunately for me that means looking for alternatives on the market, even though I have been considering Swisscom products for many years.
