“The channel was discontinued due to low customer value” - But who does these translations?? Simply shameful.

Here’s how to translate the sentence: “The channel was deactivated due to poor interesse from customers” >> Was it that difficult? 🙄

Where is the improvement? In the sense that more channels have been removed than added (some of which are almost unpresentable in terms of quality and content). Among other things, there are further reductions in the offer that are not even talked about (just to give an example, La7d passed without any notice of BlueTV from HD to SD or the Spanish TVE channels presented as HD quality when in reality they are not, but the there are many examples that could be given). Waiting for an explanation which, as usual, will not arrive 😉

For La7d HD, the fault lies not with Swisscom but with the Cairo group which deactivated the HD channel on Italian digital terrestrial. In that sense they can do little. Swisscom probably didn’t even notice the change.

However, I agree on the miserable quality of the channels added in Italian: Chamber of Deputies and Go-TV Channel 163 which broadcasts teleshopping most of the time and has an embarrassing video quality to say the least (only Channel Italy 83 is worse).

Since I understand that Swisscom takes the free Italian channels from digital terrestrial, I point out some channels that could be added. Some of them are in HD and they certainly seem better than the various Canale Italia, Italia Channel and Go-TV 163:
