Well, I didn’t really want to write anything more about the quality of the EPG, but I just saw something that was really wrong: In the currently running program “Peter Steiner’s Theatherstadl” there is a picture with Romy Schneider and Lilli Palmer from the film “Girls in Uniform” from the 50s. Apart from how you decide to choose an image from a deadly serious film for this nonsense, you can ask the supplier how he actually feels about the quality of the data he supplies and how he secures it 🙈🤷‍♂️.

I also discovered something nice, Tony Marshall, framed in red in the picture below, was, according to the information when you click on him, only born in 1974. To appear in a film two years before his birth, you have to do it first. But anyone who knows the singer of the song of the same name will see relatively quickly that a different Tony Marshall is depicted here 🤣.

I’ll continue with the same film. Jack White is also totally wrong.

You no longer know whether to laugh or cry.

Another proof of quality - tomorrow’s descent on the Lauberhorn will be declared as training!

The quality for the price is simply below all standards.

Thank you very much for the tip.

In fact, the canceled departure from Breaver Creek in the Bernese Oberland will be rescheduled tomorrow.
We will inform the data provider about this exceptional situation.

The data provider still doesn’t know the difference between a film (comedy) and a comedy (show).

      These are always mixed together…

Incidentally, the program information is already correct when ORF1 is broadcast at the same time.

Maybe the EPG supplier has Austrian customers as its main focus 🙂

We would be happy to take a look at this if concrete examples are given. Many thanks in advance.

Swisscom terminology distinguishes between the funny genres:

        - Comedies (films like “Some Like It Hot.”)

        - Comedy series (long-running favorites like “Fascht e Familie”)

        - Comedy programs (entertainment such as stand-up, cabaret and the “Arosa Humor Festival”)

I didn’t even know that Swisscom was reading this. My examples sent years ago literally had no influence on EPG. I’ve actually given up hope on the supplier of this bulkhead. We were promised an improvement compared to before, but the result was a massive deterioration. But because I’m a good-hearted person, I’ll give you another chance.

Why have >10 detectives from various cities been reported to the actors at some crime scenes for years? In others there are no actors at all, although Teletext has actors in it. Consecutive sequence numbering is still missing.

In German series, former actors who left the series years ago are often shown. Example: Morden in the North Am Abyss

Maria Wern is currently not showing any seasons or episodes.

That’s just a very small selection.

And a more detailed biography of the actors wouldn’t be a luxury either. At least perhaps the date of death for the deceased. You don’t need 3 pages of Wikipedia entries.

        Hello everyone

The EPG data for the channels Antena 3 Internacinal and TV Galicia Europa are not always correct either.

        Example Antena 3 International:

From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. it says in the EPG that the same program runs but at 3 p.m. the news comes

and that’s not in the EPG, so you can’t record the show, for example.

        Example TV Galicia Europe:

1:50 p.m. says Galicia Noticias Pezas. Actually it should just say Galicia Noticias.

That’s what it says on the homepage.

        Greeting.
