Unfortunately, some of the information provided by the programs is simply incorrect. For example, the information was given by Vox Automobil for January 9th. the information from January 2nd. listed. It is actually incomprehensible that Swisscom - even if it is now Blue (naive??) - cannot manage to produce a sensible program guide.

In my holiday home, due to the lack of a good telephone connection, I use Teleboy in addition to UPC. Blue would have to take a look at this program guide and do it for a tip vs. inOne home!

We would never admit that we too stare at IBES. Shockingly, our data provider does not.

We therefore feel caught out several times, blush a lot and at the same time are pleased to report that the geographical forces in the universe of TV trash have now been brought back into balance.

Those responsible were fed to all the Big Five at the same time!

hello stauldoteiy82

I guessed correctly before I read your answer

It’s unbelievable what’s going on

I also have a few annoying entries:

the Wannsee Conference documentation at 1984 Monday January 24th, 2022 at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 2

the wannsee conference drama de 2022 monday 24.1.22 at 8:15 p.m. on zdf

Picture on ORF from the film 1984, which is also a drama and not a documentary and the new film was shown like on ZDF

zeit.geschichte on orf 3, on January 29th, 2022, various documentaries about the Second World War. The picture shows a laughing Romy Schneider and a laughing Karl Heinz Böhm

In most political discussions, the topic appears in the title, if at all, only after it has been recorded

A number of feature films are referred to as documentaries

If another film comes out because of an actor’s death, it won’t be adjusted

For example, over Christmas came Cinderella from 2014 with the correct picture and caption. The cartoon was then shown

I see mistakes like this practically every day and it really annoys me

Calling and complaining to the hotline doesn’t help either

I hope it finally gets improved

Kind regards, Monica

Once again a little delicacy from the EPG. Watched this morning, Roland Kaiser is in the film below, that’s not wrong, it’s just that it was a different Roland Kaiser, who was a child star in the 50s and not the singer that is portrayed!

    Gaeilgeoir_0-1645525364811.png

Also nice: When describing the series “Pfarrer Braun” there is mention of a priest “Otto Braun”, but his actual name is Guido đŸ€Ł.

I actually wanted to praise those responsible for EPG because they included the SRF News Special at 8:05 p.m. on SRF1 as a highlight in the home at short notice.

But then there were a few things that could possibly lead to problems with recordings and made me curious about how the EPG is implemented on the box/servers:

When I pressed the direction keys to the left in the guide for the first time, it said “the public prosecutor” for a few seconds before it became a special. Then, as a test, the program started in replay and at the bottom it said “the public prosecutor” and the directional button to the right showed the special at the same time. Reminds me of the days of VPS, does the signal actually still exist today?

Now everything is as it was sent.

It feels like something that the box had in the cache and updated step by step after waking up from standby. Can this be? Until now I assumed the EPG would always be accessed live without a local cache.

You can now check again what EPG provides, but it was already incorrect when it was broadcast on Kika about two months ago (see post 274 in this thread).

In any case, that hasn’t been cleaned up.

Yesterday (February 25, 2022, 7:30 p.m.) was on Kika (EPG correct)

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5803528/

On March 4th, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. on Kika under the title: 100% Coco in New York (EPG incorrect)

It is now March 2022 and the unnecessary multiple recordings are unfortunately still relevant.

@ swisscom: when do you finally want to solve the problem? đŸ˜€đŸ˜€đŸ˜€

    @RolandMe

and I have to admit, I had to google what IBES means. I thought this was a new television technology, a further development of OTT in the competition, and that’s why you’re blushing when you’re looking over the garden haze.

But I was miles wrong, so to speak, Australia-wise wrong.

Oops, now I’ve caught myself being a cultural low flyer again đŸ„Ž.

I have to resign myself to this fate, but I bear it with composure.

Who knows, maybe I can close the gap at some point

The following one is also good again: This afternoon on the home channel a film “Today we hit the drums” from 1972, a hit of the same name by Tony Marshall from the same time. If you then look at the actors in this film, you will find the following. Apart from the fact that the Tony mentioned here looked a little different, the one shown in the guide was probably not even planned at the time of filming đŸ€ŁđŸ˜‚. Great supplier!

How long will it take until all the information in the TV guide is correct again? There are errors almost everywhere! Information about the show is incorrect, country code is incorrect, direction and actors are incorrect, genres are incorrect, other information is often completely missing! I find it more than embarrassing that Swisscom can’t finally get this right. It annoys me because Swisscom TV subscription costs a lot and you should FINALLY get such errors under control! But from Swisscom, for example MiriamF, there is no longer any statement about this. Why not? Even over the phone you don’t get any information as to when the errors will be fixed.
Example this evening: SRF 1 Tatort. Actually a CH production, but D/AT is specified and completely wrong actors are specified. 05DE2B30-ECFC-476E-843A-885921B93E05.jpeg

For Tatort from regions with a dialect, it would be good to know which channels the original is on and where the German dubbed version is.

@swisscom in the EPG only SRF and ORF have the đŸ‘ïž for audio description, but both ARD and ONE also have a corresponding audio track.
