blue TV improves the program data

    We are pleased to announce that our unique blue TV experience is being improved once again. By changing the metadata provider responsible for delivering the TV data, the accuracy of the program (images, texts, genres, program times) on all devices will be improved in the medium term. For example, the preview images are optimized, actor information is added and genres are divided even better.

    The adjustments are made in stages. All metadata is expected to have been migrated by the end of the year.

    Unfortunately, such a change can also lead to unforeseen problems. Maybe a country code is missing, a series recording isn’t working correctly or something is happening that we don’t know yet. However, we are trying to make the change as unnoticeable as possible.

    We wish you a nice summer with lots of hot TV highlights.

      @roku73 Yes, according to my internal clarification, Sport1+ has already migrated. Can you give a few examples of what is currently not consistent?

      There was a tennis WTA tournament running all last week, the EPG, as usual, said bull riding, only the final on Sunday was really included. Live motorsport was also affected.

      What strikes me today is that the information has been a lot better since Sunday. As I said, the tennis WTA finals and the motorsport races were suddenly correct.

      Even now the information is correct. Maybe the cut to Sunday was made by the data provider, so it’s better now.

      I keep it on the radar. If it’s completely wrong again, I’ll report it here.

      @Andy7171 According to our research, the EPG also showed athletics on Saturday, at 1:03 p.m. (when you made the post):

      But perhaps it was corrected afterwards. Didn’t you happen to take another photo when it was displayed incorrectly?

      In the future it would be great if you could take a print screen each time you notice an error in the EPG.
