Scroll bar on Blue TV on the right in the TV guide is missing

I use Firefox 88 and have not activated NoScript and AdBlocker for this site. There should be a scroll bar on the right to scroll down through the channels in the TV Guide. This doesn’t appear on Firefox - but it does on Edge. In Firefox it just shows me a small arrow at the top and bottom. Who has an idea?

Thank you for the feedback. The settings are identical. The scroll bar is only missing in the TV Guide - the scroll bar is there in all other options (Home, Videos, Recordings, etc.).

    Good evening!

Apparently Swisscom is aware of the error with Firefox and the TV Guide page and is working on it!!!!!

I found the following emergency solution for myself:

    1. Go to the TV Guide page

    2. Press F12

    3. Select “Inspector”.

    4. On the right, uncheck “scrollbar-face-color” and “scrollbar-track-color” (see picture)

    5. Close the inspector again with F12 => the bar appears.

As long as the cache (F5) is not deleted, the bar remains there.

    Good morning

Thanks for the tip and I tried it out immediately according to the picture.

    Unfortunately it didn’t work - I have Firefox 89.

Nevertheless, thank you very much for the tip! I hope that the error will be resolved quickly.

    Good morning

Me again. I had to restart the browser and log in again.

Now the bar appears, even though the two options are checked.

    Thanks again!

Unfortunately it was only a short-lived joy - I tried again earlier and it didn’t work with or without the crosses. A so-called indicator error (works - doesn’t work - works). But wait until Swisscom comes up with a solution.

      Hello Waegi!

Unfortunately my little trick no longer works.

It seems like they are really working on the problem, because the previously incorrectly inserted comment has now been replaced with duplicate code. If I remove this unnecessary code, it works for me again.

My new little emergency solution 😉.

If you want, you can try it that way.

      1. Open the TV Guide page

      2. Press F12 key

      3. Click on “Inspector”.

      4. right, click on the title highlighted in yellow

      Step1.jpg

      5. then delete lines 1235 and 1236 (they are duplicate)

      Step2.jpg

      5. Press F12 again to make the bar appear.

      6. Scroll with the mouse via the scroll bar, right (mouse wheel doesn’t work)!

We just have to be a little more patient.

Thanks for the tip. Since I’m still working in between 😀 I’ve only now gotten around to trying your instructions. Somehow it doesn’t work anymore - but: the scroll bar appeared as if by magic after a few minutes after I went online. Apparently something is in the works - only the day (e.g. tomorrow) and the channel appear in the planned recordings; the time is no longer visible. Thanks again.

I tried again earlier - unfortunately it doesn’t work anymore. Thank you very much - I’m impressed with the solution approach, I would never have thought of it.

No scroll bar for me either (Firefox 89.0.2 with Win 7 and Win 10, tv.blue.ch/tv-guide).

With the scroll wheel I can jump back and forth between the first N and the last N channels in my list (N typically 9 to max. 12, depending on the window size)

      @Winnie: Thanks for your workarounds.
You have noticed changes on the site: Apparently “Swisscom” has tinkered with the live system (“Frozen Zone” or not) without achieving any improvement. Once again we, the users, are the guinea pigs.

For me it’s enough to use F12/Inspector if I just click once on the (already marked) field <body class=“scroll-disabled”> without changing any settings.
After F12 I then have a scroll bar that jumps between the very top and the very bottom using the wheel. With the mouse you can reach the channels in between. But just: only until the page is reloaded.

Meanwhile, I reorganized my TV Air channel list so that the most important channels are placed either at the top or bottom.

I have now tried again with F12. Both options have now been crossed out for me. If I deactivate the two points, no scroll bar appears, but I can scroll down with the mouse wheel without ending up at the end of the list. Something has changed, but it’s still not very user-friendly. Thank you for the tip.

      Good morning

Yes, it is currently no longer necessary to delete the code with my F12 emergency solution. All I have to do is press F12 and then move the mouse from the top of the screen down into the developer tool. The scroll bar appears as if by magic.

I find it sad that the problem has still not been solved after more than two months… 😥

      Well, wait and hope…!
